I still have my own plan in the future. I want to have my own business. But I need to be more careful with making plans. Especially when I need to make break down calculation for investment. I think I should put some amount in order to get commercial insurance for my business. I am not expecting that my business will go wrong in the future. But if that bad case happen to me or my business, the insurance company can cover it.

Last time, when I had my restaurant and bar business, I did not know that I could get insurance for it. I did not get insurance for my restaurant business. Luckily we could sell it before something wrong happen with the business. I could get big loss if I did not sell the business at the right time. I was happy that it did not happen to us. Some people did break down the places for reasons. I don't know what was the reasons. But it was pretty sad to hear that.

But for sure if I will have another restaurant business or other kind of business in the future, I would like to have insurance for my business.

New Year Night

Did you celebrate New Year? Where did you celebrate your New Year night? We did play with small fire woirkd in the back of our house. But since it was for the kids, we did it early. After we had our dinner last night, we did the small fire works. Kids loved it. They were enjoying the fire works. I was the only one get stress because I was afraid that the kids will touch the fire. My husband laughed at me because he saw my stressy face. Meanwhile he enjoyed the time with the kids. :)

Feeding Ducks

What will you do in the first day of January? We have a plan today. Since everybody did party last night, we also want to give party. But not for us, it will be for the ducks in the park. We will bring our old bread and feed the ducks there. My children love to do that. I know that the weather is not really so good. It's been few days freezing on the street. But I think if I will put lots of clothes on my kids, they will be fine. Beside, we will only do it for awhile. Just like half an hour to feed the ducks.

I think in every country, it is normal that everybody needs to pay tax. But of course the regulation about tax is different in every country. For me, it's a bit difficult to follow it since I have been moving abroad few times. Lucky me that my husband understand perfectly well about taxation.

Fixed!

Finally our notebook is fixed. It tooked us aboiut a week to find out what was the real problem with our notebook laptop. And thanks to my husband who fixed it. I am so proud of him. He did it him self. First, he tried to fix the memory, but it was not the problem. The problem was the motherboard. I don't know why it did not work anymore suddenly.

But I thknk I should not think about it anymore. Because now it is working and it did not cost us a lot of money. Only costed us 20 euro for the new part, and my husband fixed it. Yippieeee.......

Skin Problem

Another thing that often happen with me during winter is a skin problem. Not only dry skin problem. But I also see few acne on my face. I hardly get any acne on my face normally, but this time there is acne on my face.
Very strange! I did not chance my food at all. So it's not because of the food that I eat. I guess it's about the weather. I don't know how it works but for sure it has to do with the cold winter.

So I guess I need to give more attention to my skin face. I will try to use Dual Action Cleanse to clean my face every night. And after that, I have to put another night cream again. I know that it will take a little time, but it's just a ritual before going to bed.

I also had few acne last winter. And I did the same thing like I mentioned. After few days there was no more acne on my face. Let's hope it will work again this time. If it does not work, I need to find special day and night cream for acne. I never do that before, so I don't know what kind of cream it will be. I will look for it when I need it.

It Is Still Early

Last night, I went to bed so early. I was not feeling well. Yeah, after seeing ice in front of the house, I don't think you can feel so happoy. Suddenly I miss my own country with the tropical weather every years.

But what should I do? When the winter is so cold, I become more lazy than usual. I think my hubby knew that and he asked me few times if I am OK. Maybe because I was juts sitting or lying down with my children in the sofa, meanwhile busy to entertaint my children as well.

Let's hope this cold season will be over soon. Getting too much for me here. :(

For Summer

Do you already think a head about your summer holiday? I do. At least I am trying to do that. I don't want to drive myself crazy with this cold winter. That's why I am thinking ahead already for my summer holiday. For sure, I would like to spend our holiday in the nice warm places. It does not matter where it will be. But I should also think for a place which is nice for my children to spend their holiday.

A friend of mine also did the same thing like me. She will bring her kids to Poconos Summer Camp. I have never been there before. So I try to search on the Internet to know more about that place. After reading some information from websites, I come to a conclusion that it is really great place for holiday. Kids would love to stay in the camp. And this camp is a great place for kids to stay. Kids love to enjoy the nature. And if we stay in a camp, they will have plenty of time to play and enjoy with nature. What a great idea of my friend.

Now I am thinking if there is a similar kind of camp near by. I am not sure. I have to look around first. We will see what I will come up with. Let's hope my children will love my idea.

One More Week

My children have their two weeks holiday. And by this time, there is still one more week to go. I have to entertain them in the house. Normally they goes to school from the morning till afternoon. So I can have quiet time to do other things in the house, including blogging.

But it's been a week I hardly have chance to do lots of blogging. At this moment, I am using my chance to do that since they are busy playing with their video game. But I am not sure how long it will be. Just do quick browse and write few posts in my blogs and I will get back to them again.

I think I will have my time again after the holiday.

Second Christmas

Do you ever heard of Second Christmas? Yeah, they do celebrate two times in The Netherlands. The call it second Christmas. And for this year, we have invitation from my bother in law to have dinner in his house. Believe it or not. I only did visit his place once after my five years marriage with my hubby. Maybe because his place is not really that near from where we live. Or maybe because my hubby is not closed enough to his brother, neither do I. I don't know what's the reason.

Werll, we will go there anyway. We will meet my mom in law and other in law too there. Let's hope that we will have nice and quite dinner. Since we don't meet so often, I don't think that I can have pleasant coversation with my in law as well. But ... no problem, I guess! Let's celebrate Christmas with Christmas spirit!

I Love Chatting

Yes, I do love chatting. I've been living in this new country for almost three years, I hardly meet friends in the neighborhood. We are living in the country side, so there is not many chance to meet friends as well here. That's why I use my leisure time by doing chat with online friends. Using Online Chat Rooms help me finding friend in this cyberspace. Even we don't meet each other physically but we still can discuss about anything with this chat. That's why can't live faraway from my computer and internet connection at this time.

New Hair Cut

Yesterday I went to the hairdresser. Already thought that it would be busy here since it was two days before Christmas. And it was busy indeed! We had to wait for three people first until we finally got hair cut. My daughter also came with me. She also wanted to have hair cut.

I am happy that I finally got my new hair cut. But also a bit disappointing because I had to pay 40 euro total to have hair cut for me and my daughter. Oh boy... it was really expensive compare to my last experience. I thought I only paid 30 euro, but it was not in the same place. So I don't think I will go back to this hairdresser again. It's too expensive for me. But since it's for Christmas, I should not nag too much.

New Games for Your Computer

Christmas Tree

We are going to find our Christmas tree this afternoon. Well, even it will only be for few days here, at least we will have our own Christmas tree. My hubby like to have the real tree, and we plan to buy the small one this afternoon. Now I am waiting for him to bring us to the place where we can buy the Christmas tree. My kids are so exciting at this time. Already told them this morning about the plan, they can't wait for their Christmas tree anymore. Too excited!

I am collecting old papers and books or magazines. Want to clean up the house. We need to bring old papers and throw it some where. Normally we do it when we do shopping in town. There is the place or box to throw those old papers there.

But since it's a bit far away from the house, we can't do it so often.We will collect the old papers from the house as many as we can first, then throw it there in one time. I took picture of those old papers here :

Chat Room

It's been few weeks that I am busy with chatting. Yeah, I become addicted to chatting. It's just interesting when you can talk with somebody faraway from you online hrough Internet. My friend also mentioned about Interracial Chat Room. She said I should have a look, since it's a new chat room that she found few days ago. But since I don't have time yet yesterday, I did not check that chat room. Maybe if I have more time today, I will have a look to see what's going on there. Maybe it can be interesting as well for me or not. I don't know yet. I can not make any conclusion yet. We will see.

Cold And Coughing

Now I have those two thing. Yeah, cold and coughing. That's why I don't really like winter time. Because I could get this virus easily in this season. My hubby also got it few weeks ago. But now he is getting better. And it's time for me.. I guess that what the virus thinking. Hmm.. I don't know. It's not really nice to have this cough and cold. I just hope I will get better before Christmas. So I can enjoy the Christmas time with the family.

Christmas Wishes

Do you have Christmas wishes this year? I do. But it's very personal. That's why I can't write it down here in my post. Just hope and wish that it will come true. I don't know when.. but I am hoping. :)

By the way, we did not buy Christmas tree yet until today. Silly? We don't really have time and chance to do it yet. But maybe next week, few days before Christmas, when the kids already start their holiday, we can try to get one small Christmas tree for our house.

We do have the stall. Grandma brought it for the kids from the Netherlands. But since there is no decoration yet, no lights and all, I don't want to take a picture of it yet, and put it in my blog. Maybe later if everything is ready, I will post it here.

Your Dream House

Have you own your dream house? I don't have my dream house yet. We are still in the process to look around for our dream house. That's why I am doing all the searching and browsing over the Internet to get ideas for our own house. With doing like this, I can see more ideas from all over the world.

I came across interesting site few days ago. I think the site is from a company in Louisiana which is called Schumacher Homes Louisiana. They have great design in term of houses. Since I want to have a big house which is designed specially for us, it's nice to see some models of the house from them. I do like the company that I mentioned. Schumacher Homes could be a help to get the dream house, just like what I expected. They can make a design, including the flooring design and build it for us. Since I have quite some criteria for my dream house, it would be nice if a company like that can help me to build my house.

If I can, I would like to have big house. Small is not enough for my family. But I also don't want to spend to much on budget when I want to build the house. So I should be carefull enough when it come to start planning and building the house.

Selling Second Hand Stuffs

Now it's time to clean up the house again. Since there are plenty of children or baby stuff that can no longer be used anymore, I need to clean it up first. I hope this will work. It does not really matter if it will go for cheap price. Since we never use those stuffs anymore. It's pity if we have to throw it just like that.

So what I need to do now is cleaning up all the stuffs that I want to sell. Then make good pictures of those stuffs so I can put some ads on the Internet.

Addicted To The Game.

Few weeks ago, my children got a big present from Santa. It was a video games with V-tech brand. Actually it was my daughter who want to have this game. But now after few weeks, it looks like my son is the one who get addicted to this game.

He always ask to play the game every day. But I am happy that he still listen to me. If I say no or if I ask him to turn it off because he was playing too long, he will listen and immediately stop the game. Even more surprise that he will clean it up and ask me to put it back on top of the cupboard.

Well. Just hope that he is not to addicted to it.

Freezing

It's been few days since the weather turn into freezing. When I need to bring the kids to school, I could see the ice in the street. Oh boy... brrrrr.... it is really cold now. I am not used to this kind of weather at all. When we just moved here two and a half years ago, the winter was not so cold as this time.

Now, I need to put three clothes on just to keep me warm. And when the weather is like this, I really miss my own country that has tropical weather the whole years. Hmmmm.... nice sunshine. And even some people said that they feel cold at this time there, I don't think they realize how cold I am here.. :)

Just hope that it will not take too long....

Short Visit

Yesterday, my mother in law came to visit us. She brought lots of presents for the kids. And she also brought some decoration for Christmas's tree. But since we did not buy the tree yet, we can't decorate the Christmas tree. :) We are still busy with other things to do in the house, so we did not have chance to decorate the house for Christmas.

My MIL only stayed for short time. I think it was just three or four hours here. She was busy playing with the kids. I think she came here for that reason too.

At 4 o'clock in the afternoon, she asked my hubby to bring her back to the train station because her train will leave at 4.25 in the afternoon. It only take 15 minutes from our house to the train station in Maastricht. But she want o make sure that she will not miss the train.

My daughter was a bit sad when she know that grandma will leave. But we said to her that we will see Oma again two weeks from now. When we have Christmas dinner. Then she smiled and look happy again.

Oh well ... Grandma always means a lot for the children. :)

My Own Recipe

Yesterday, I made my own recipe of pasta. My kids love pasta, I would like to cook Spaghetti Bolognese but I realized that I down have beef in my freezer. So I decided to make my own pasta's recipe. The idea is to have carbonara sauce but since I also don't have smoked beef, I use sausages as a replacement.
Add some milk, garlic, and garlic cream cheese and few more Italian herbs...I made my own pasta's recipe. My children love it so much. They ate a lot yesterday. I am so happy that they like it. :)

I still have a dream. I want to have my own car so I can drive a car my self without bothering my husband. And I can ask more, I would like to have a new car so I know for sure that my car will not have serious problem when I drive. With secondhand car, I can not really sure if the car have a problem before or not. That's a bit scary for me. Especially since I know nothing about car engine.

MIL will Visit Us

Tomorrow, my MIL will drop by. Oh boy... I always get nervous when she said that she will come to visit us. Why? Means we need to clean up the house. I do clean up the house every day. But if she will come here, we will do extra effort to clean up our house.
My hubby said that she will help me today on my cleaning operation. Haha.. what a funny people we are. This situation is also happening when my mom said that she will come to Europe to visit us. My hubby started to clean the house, paint some stuffs ...

Trying To Make Header

I have been trying to make my own header. But it's been few days since I started, I still did not get it. Living in The City Center

A friend of mine just got a new job. His new job will have an office in the center of Chicago city. Since he is now living in the place which is a little bit out of town, he said to me that he would like to find another apartment to rent in the city center.

He is still single, so he will try to find a small apartments in downtown Chicago. If he can find it, he can really save cost on his transport. And not only that,if he stay in the city center, he will also save time. He does not need to go to his office early in the morning if he can find an apartment near the place that he will work.

At this moment, my hubby is going to Carrefour to do some groceries. And I asked him to buy roasted chicken. I don't know why suddenly I want to eat roasted chicken. It was two weeks ago since I bought the other roasted chicken in the corner of the street. But I already want to eat it again. Hihihi :)

But don't worry it's not because I am pregnant. Because I am sure that I am not. Hehe :)

I love to eat chicken. It's my favorite food I think. Whatever the recipe that I cook, I like to eat it.

Food For Tonight

Always confuse when I need to think for dinner menu. Feel like I have been cooking the same foods for us. And my hubby also could not really help since he us very busy with his work at this time. Now I can understand why my mom always think so hard before when she need to do grocery in the market.

I did make "Sambal Goreng" from my last chili pepper. I think this is the last time that I could harvest since now it is really cold and snowing.

Busy

Busy..busy... busy, my hubby always busy. I want to ask him for baby site the children for awhile. I want to go to the city to get my hair cut. But until today, I still can't do that. I just hope that I still have a chance to go to the hair dresser before Christmas. But as of now I could not predict when it will happen.

We are living far away from grandparents as well so I can not ask them to babysit my children. When we were living in Indonesia, I did not have a problem with that. I was free to go most of the time, since my mom always ready to baby site the kids. I miss those moments. Really !

My Kids Are Sick Again

I don't really like weather in winter in general. My kids can't really stand it. They often get sick, either it's cold or cough. Just like this moment, both my kids are not feeling well. Coughing and running nose. It's not really nice for them.

Last night, both my kids were coughing for some times. Just feel pity, because I could not help. I gave medicine but could not help. I hope they get better soon.
