What Should I Feel About This?

You asked few times through short message services to his phone, you wanted to make sure that he confirm if he will eat dinner at home or not. You want to prepare his dinner, you need to buy groceries and cook the food for him... Got sms confirmation that he will be back on time. You started to prepare everything, you cooked everything for him as good as you can. You don't want to be late, you plan your cooking time because you want to make sure that the food will be ready when he arrive home. Guess what happen? You got a phone call from him, mentioned that there will be meeting and it can be until late in the night. What I suppose to do? What should I feel about this? Is it acceptable if I feel sad, pissed, dissapointed... about this?
